Today's Downsizer-Dispatch . . .

Our media campaign is paying off. New members are pouring in -- 200 hundred in just the first ten days of August. But it gets better . . .

Uber-talk-show-host Roger Hedgecock loved the "Read the Bills Act!" So much so that he mentioned it again on his show yesterday. But it gets even better . . .

Hedgecock is a guest host for Rush Limbaugh. He'll be doing Limbaugh's show today and tomorrow. Yesterday, on his own show, Hedgecock said he asked Limbaugh's producers for permission to talk about RTBA!

National exposure may be just around the corner. But even if it doesn't happen today or tomorrow, we know something like it will happen eventually, because we're building the strength to make it happen.

Relentlessly and incrementally, we're building an over-powering army. And step-by-step we'll make the Downsize DC vision known to everyone, everywhere, everyday. It isn't a matter of "if" it will happen, it's only a matter of "when" it will happen, because we are totally focused on our goals, and constantly moving forward.

The Hedgecock response to RTBA, and the Limbaugh opportunity, are a sign of the power of what we're doing. We are building a trans-partisan movement, where people of all partisan and ideological persuasions can join together for common goals like passing the "Read the Bills Act."

It bears repeating. It isn't a question of "if" it will happen, it is only a matter of "when."

* Thank you to everyone who uses our system to badger Congress to Downsize DC. * Thank you to everyone who provides us with media contacts. * Thank you to everyone who contributes.

We're making steady progress toward our goal of $168,000 in secure annual funding as the launch-point for Operation Everywhere and our proposed "One Subject at a Time Act." The drive continues. Please make a monthly credit card pledge of $3 or more, or a one-time contribution to keep our engine running. You can do so here.

Thank you for being a DC Downsizer.
