Today's Downsizer-Dispatch . . .

In this issue . . .

* Our progress * An action item * A media alert

PROGRESS:

We're soaring in April . . .

* The total number of DC Downsizers now exceeds 12,000 * We've crossed 40,000 for the number of RTBA messages to Congress * We've crossed 21,000 for the total number of messages to Congress this month

Let's keep it going . . .

ACTION ITEM:

The Federal Reserve has stopped reporting a number called M3. This statistic is the best indicator of how much new money the Fed is creating. New money causes inflation. Inflation raises prices and destroys the value of your savings. The only reason for the Fed to stop reporting M3 is because they want to hide how much new money they're going to create -- like a counterfeiter hiding from the cops in a basement. Fortunately, Congressman Ron Paul has introduced a bill to make the Fed start reporting M3 again. We need to urge Congress to pass this bill. You can do so here.

OUR GAS TANK:

Sixteen people have so far contributed $3,365 toward our April goal of $14,000. We need another $10,635 to keep going. If you want to help you can contribute or make a monthly pledge here.

Thank you to the following people for their recent donations:

Judith A Shellabarger, Sue Karber, Richard T. Hogan, Laura Haggarty, Lorana M. Tremper, Peter Skaates

Special thanks to the following people for starting monthly pledges:

Terrie Burns, Kurtis Bottke, Sue Karber, Melanie k. Wooten
