Jim Babka will be on a conference call with other organizations combating warrantless eavesdropping by government agents as well as special immunity for telecoms and government employees who may have violated the privacy rights of Americans.
We've explained at our website and in previous messages, available on our blog, what was at stake.
The good news is that our efforts appear to be working, particularly for the big surveillance bill.
We still must be vigilant because it would be real easy to sneak the immunity provision into one of the large appropriation bills. WE WANT "CLEAN" BILLS.
So he'll be learning and strategizing in this meeting. But you can take important and specific action here and now.

THEN CALL your representatives in Congress to oppose the passage of any such "immunity" provisions. You can see their office number on the campaign page once you're logged-in.
